Strawberry Smoothie Sour

We brew what we love to drink and we've been in love with Smoothie Sours for a long time now! This is our first iteration of the style and because we are business incompetent, we decided to put it in our Core Range so you can drink it in the beach or in the Christmas Eve! We choose strawberry! Not because It's easy but because It's hard (JFK quote lol)! In simple terms, this Smoothie Sour starts as a 10% ABV kettle sour Berliner Weisse and after maturation we add to it 50% of strawberry. We don't let the strawberry ferment so the aromatics stay true to those of the original fruit and as a result of the fruit dilution the final ABV is 5%! No lactose, no marshmallow, no vanilla, no nothing! Just lactic acid versus fructose! That’s the simple balance we like! We just hope you love it the way we do!
